Our Humble Beginnings

It’s the end of the swinging 60's, and Jack sees that there is a specific need that isn’t being met in the capital city of Ohio. There really isn’t anyone selling any kind of merchandise for the Ohio State University students, alumni and fans. Already a savvy businessman from his experience running his jewelry business in Zanesville, Jack and his wife Violet-both of them children of immigrants-settled right on campus across from the ‘Shoe, and opened up Conrads College Gifts in the bottom levels of the apartment building where they also lived.

Present Day

Fast forward over 50 years, Conrads may have moved to our new location off-campus to Westerville, but it's still owned by the same family that started the whole thing decades ago. Now in their 3rd generation, and owned by Jack's grandson, Conrads is still continuing the legacy of their family by serving the fans, players, and coaches of The Ohio State University, and more teams and plans to for many years to come.
