1.) Shipping Methods
We primarily ship UPS® and The United States Postal Service (USPS). You can choose your shipping method at checkout (some services may not be available based on your shipping address or items ordered). If you are shipping to a PO Box, you must ship with USPS. Conrads does not ship anything without a tracking number and can not ship via First Class Mail (like a letter with a stamp).
If you provide your email address at checkout, you will automatically receive an email with tracking information once your items ship.
Conrads is not responsible for and can not control the package once it leaves our building. We will do our best to help locate packages that have shipped but are not responsible for lost or damaged items. Each shipping method provides an estimated travel time. Due to unforeseen circumstances, it may take longer to arrive.
Customers with shipping addresses in Franklin County, Ohio are eligible for local same-day delivery. Restrictions apply. Please see below for details.
If you plan to visit Columbus, Ohio, local pickup is also available for orders. Separate restrictions apply. Please see below for details.
Please note: Manufacturer Direct items cannot be expedited. Selecting an expedited shipping method will only expedite items that are in stock and shipped from our facility, not the time it takes for the items to become available. These items cannot not be picked up locally, or delivered locally and must be shipped to the shipping address on the order. No exceptions can be made. Manufacturer Direct items take from 3 business days to 8 weeks to be available for delivery. Please see the individual item page for a timeframe.
2.) Local Delivery
Local delivery is available only in Franklin County, within select zip codes. Local delivery is not available for PO boxes, unique zip codes, or addresses outside of Franklin county. Local delivery is not available for any items that display special notices about shipping, delivery, or pickup.
Local delivery costs $19.00 for all orders up to $199.99. This price is based on the cart total only, not any additional fees, taxes, discounts, or other price adjustments taken during checkout. Orders over $199.99 receive free local delivery, if chosen at checkout.
Local deliveries are made the same day, within a four hour window for orders placed before 2:00 PM EST. After that, local deliveries will arrive the next day between 10:00 AM and 2:30 PM EST.
Once your item is picked up and delivered by the local delivery company, you will receive an email or text message. Conrads encourages customers to be at home for local deliveries. If not, the delivery company will leave the package at your front door.
If you do not want an item to be left unattended, and nobody is available to accept the delivery, a fee of $19.00 will be applied, and the delivery will be rescheduled. Rescheduled local deliveries cannot be guaranteed to arrive on the same day, regardless of the order total.
Local delivery may be delayed due to inclement weather, or rare cases of heavy traffic. Conrads will contact you should any delay happen.
Conrads uses a 3rd party to make local deliveries. For any issues with local delivery, please contact the company directly at (614) 444-5600, and mention Conrads.
3.) Local Pickup
For faster service, you can select “Pickup” during checkout, and arrange to visit the store to pick up your order. Local pickup is available for all orders, at no extra charge, regardless of the order amount. Local pickup is not available for any items that display special notices about shipping, delivery, or pickup.
Orders requesting local pickup are generally processed during business hours, and generally become available within 3 hours, provided that the items are available in our store. Customers will be notified via email when a local pickup order has been processed and is ready for pickup. Orders containing multiple items may not have all items available for pickup on the same day.
Customers have 14 days to pick up their order. After 14 days Conrads will attempt to contact the customer. Conrads will make an additional three attempts in two weeks. If after 30 days, there has been no communication with the customer, Conrads will cancel the order and restock all items in the order. A store credit will automatically be emailed to the customer to use on a future purchase.
As a security precaution, all customers must present a valid photo ID and show either a printed copy of the order, or a copy of the order on their mobile device. Customers with only verbal order numbers or handwritten order numbers will not be permitted to claim an order for pickup.
Local pickup is available during the following hours:
Monday - Saturday
10:30 AM to 6:00 PM EST
11:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST
Hours may be affected by inclement weather.
4.) Free Shipping
We offer free standard shipping for most orders over $50.00. If your subtotal comes to more than $50.00 (not including manufacturer direct items or gift cards as these already ship free), then your order is eligible for free shipping. This is automatic based on your cart total.
When free shipping is offered, it is subject to the following policies: Orders with free shipping will be sent via standard shipping unless we deem it necessary to switch the carrier.
Free shipping is NOT available with any other discount, coupon, or offer. Free shipping may be restricted on large or heavy orders and is not available for manufacturer direct or print on demand items. It is also not available for the following address types:
- Alaska and Hawaii Addresses
- Military Addresses
- U.S. Territory Addresses
- Outside of the US (International)
5.) International Shipping
Due to shipping regulations, not all items are available to ship internationally. Reasons for these restrictions include the item's material content and origin of manufacturing, as well as individual policies of destination countries.
Many countries charge taxes and duties at delivery, which international customers are responsible for paying at that time. Conrads cannot collect those charges and have them prepaid on your order.
6.) Processing Times
Conrads offers same-day shipping on all in stock items if ordered before 1:00 PM EST (this is dependent on the shipping services picking up the packages, this is not a guarantee).
Please Note: package pickup from our store is scheduled for Monday to Saturday, and items are usually picked up by USPS at 4:00 PM (EST/EDT), and by UPS at 5:00 P.M. (EST/EDT). You may place orders after this time, but it may have to wait until the next business day to ship your order.
Holidays may affect processing and delivery times on all orders.
When you order items from the Buckeye Gift Box Builder, please allow up to five business days for Conrads to process, build, and ship your gift box during the holiday season.
The Conrads Crate will be shipped on the 1st-5th of each month. New crate orders placed after the 5th of each month will be shipped the following month. The Conrads Crate is shipped free via Priority Mail through USPS.
7.) Manufacturer Direct Items
Some items come directly from the manufacturer to you. These items may require a longer delivery time, sometimes (but not usually) up to 8 weeks. The item's descriptions give you an estimated delivery time for that specific item.
- Conrads cannot offer expedited shipping on any item that is shipped directly from the manufacturer.
- These items cannot be picked up or delivered locally, and must be shipped to the final destination.
- These items always ship free, regardless of your cart total.
- Manufacturer direct items do not count for the total for free shipping for in-store items.
8.) Mistakes & Errors
Conrads is not responsible for typographical errors, including prices. The website can't correct mistyped information in your address or incorrect products if you accidentally click the wrong link. All errors are subject to correction. If you think you made a mistake online, please call Conrads as soon as possible, so we can fix your order before it ships.If Conrads makes a mistake and ships items that are the wrong size or ships you items you did not order, you are covered by our Return Policy. You do not have to pay shipping fees to return something that was shipped to you by mistake. If this happens, please call us as soon as possible.
